이 블로그를 쓰는 이유
파리 여행 정보는 검색만 하면 끝없이 나옵니다. 문제는 그중 상당수가 몇 년 전에 쓰인 채로 방치되어 있거나, 가본 적 없는 곳을 다녀온 것처럼 적어둔 글이라는 것입니다. 지하철 요금은 이미 바뀌었는데 옛 숫자가 그대로 남아 있고, 어디서 옮겨 적었는지 알 수 없는 팁이 여러 블로그를 떠돌아다닙니다.
그래서 이 블로그는 원칙을 하나만 세웠습니다. 직접 확인한 것만 쓴다. 지하철 공사로 어느 노선이 며칠까지 끊기는지, 뮤지엄 패스가 있어도 예약을 따로 해야 하는지, 면세 환급 절차에서 어느 단계를 빼먹으면 돈이 도로 빠져나가는지 — 날짜와 숫자가 걸린 내용은 그때그때 다시 찾아보고 씁니다. 확인이 안 된 정보는 차라리 신지 않습니다.

지하철·RER 운행 중단, 폭염이나 파업처럼 일정에 실제로 영향을 주는 소식을 매주 업데이트합니다. 뉴스 기사를 그대로 옮기지 않고, 여행자 입장에서 무엇을 바꿔야 하는지로 다시 씁니다.
맛집 & 쇼핑
메뉴판 읽는 법부터 면세 환급 절차, 관광객 쿠폰까지. 가격이나 제도가 자주 바뀌는 부분은 숫자를 못 박기보다 구조와 순서를 알려드리는 쪽을 택합니다.
깨알 꿀팁
패스는 있는데 예약이 안 돼 있어서 못 들어가는 경우처럼, 몰라서 손해 보기 쉬운 것들을 모읍니다. 여행 커뮤니티에 흔히 도는 이야기라도 근거가 불확실하면 검증 후 다시 씁니다.
문화 & 축제
프랑스에서 지켜야 할 것과, 알고 가면 더 재미있는 역사와 축제 이야기입니다. 정보 전달에 그치지 않고 실제로 재미있게 읽히도록 씁니다.

- 확인 안 된 정보는 올리지 않습니다어디서 왔는지 모르는 할인 코드나 출처 불명의 관세 기준, 근거 없이 떠도는 숫자는 신지 않습니다. 확인이 끝나지 않았다면 그 부분은 비워둡니다.
- 날짜와 숫자는 최신 기준으로 확인합니다요금과 제도, 운행 정보는 계속 바뀝니다. 게시 시점의 확인 기준일을 글마다 밝히고, 크게 바뀌면 다시 확인해 고칩니다.
- 광고와 정보를 섞지 않습니다제휴 상품이나 광고가 들어간 글에는 그렇다고 표시합니다. 추천처럼 보이지만 실은 광고인 글을 만들지 않습니다.

Why I write this blog
Search for Paris travel information and you'll get endless results. The problem is that a lot of it was written years ago and never updated, or reads as if the author had visited a place they never actually went to. Metro fares have changed but the old numbers are still sitting there, and tips of unknown origin keep getting copied from blog to blog.
So this blog holds itself to one rule: only write what I've checked myself. Which metro line is out until which date because of construction, whether you still need a separate reservation even with a Museum Pass, which step in the tax-refund process makes your money disappear if you skip it — anything involving dates and numbers gets looked up again before I write about it. If something isn't confirmed, I'd rather leave it out.

Metro and RER service disruptions, heatwaves, strikes — things that actually affect your itinerary — updated weekly. I don't just copy news articles; I rewrite them around what a traveler actually needs to change.
Food & Shopping
From how to read a French menu to the tax-refund process and tourist coupons. Where prices or rules change often, I focus on the structure and the order of steps rather than pinning down a number that will go stale.
Small but useful tips
Things that are easy to lose out on simply because you didn't know — like having a pass but no reservation, and getting turned away. Even tips that circulate widely in travel communities get re-checked if the source is unclear.
Culture & Festivals
What to be mindful of in France, plus history and festival stories that are more fun once you know the background. Written to be genuinely enjoyable to read, not just informative.
What this blog commits to
- I don't post unverified informationNo discount codes of unknown origin, no customs figures from unclear sources, no numbers floating around without a basis. If something isn't fully confirmed, that part is simply left out.
- Dates and numbers are checked against the latest available informationFares, regulations, and service schedules keep changing. Each post notes the date I confirmed it as of, and gets revisited if something changes significantly.
- Advertising and information are not mixedPosts containing affiliate products or ads are labeled as such. I don't write posts that look like recommendations but are actually ads.
